Good size rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff. Great location, restaurants in neighborhood in walking distance. Hop-on Hop-off bus one block away. Riverside trolley about 3 blocks to walk right at the convention center, also Outlet stores at Riverside Walk.
Rooms need updating! Sofa bed was worn out and not usable. We complained and they brought a regular size mattress so one could sleep on it. We faced a courtyard on the second floor. There was a loud party which was broken up. Two days later there were people talking and laughing on the patio right in front of our room at 3AM. Could not sleep either. Called the front desk and it was taken care of.
I liked the room set-up. Upon entering the room, one encounters a sofa, coffee table, desk with chair, and kitchen area, including sink, dorm refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot. Walking further into the room, we had two queen beds facing a flat-screen TV. The bath and vanity area were spacious enough. All areas were clean to my liking. We requested a baby crib, which was brought to our room quickly and set up for us.
I asked specifically for a room away from the street side and away from the elevator because I had a 19 month old baby with me. We were a good distance from the elevator. However, we were placed directly over the street entrance to the hotel. Also, a family of galloping buffalo were rented the room above mine. I did manage to fall asleep because I am good at ignoring noises and thankfully the baby slept through the night. I guess all's well that ends well. I paid $20 per day to park in the hotel's parking garage. The pool was located in a courtyard near the garage.
Helpful staff, good price and a great breakfast
The fitness center was so so
The reason why I chose to stay at the SpringHill Suites in New Orleans this time is because I'd stayed there 2 years ago when attending the avma Convention. I found the hotel wonderful then, and I found it even better this second visit. The staff - everyone from the front desk people to the chamber maids - are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. It's so nice to stay at a hotel that provides free internet. Thank you for the excellent service!
I left the hotel in the morning at 8.30 am return at 6 pm and the room was not done. They try to do it when I came back, tired from work and wanted to rest. I asked for help with the luggagge, and they did not have anyone to help. Breakfast was very poor. And the breakfast area was very small ,it was always crowded. People at reception could not even copy my address right. Price double during the week end nights. Not worth it of the price I payed.
We had a great stay, the staff were lovely. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. The dining area was spacious and bright, and our room was beautiful!!!
A change of pillows would be nice as the pillows are a bit flat, and the parking is a bit expensive.
Location in the warehouse district and proximity to the convention center
The configuration of the room floor plan The extremely loud noise from s Peters at all hours of the night...makes for a difficult night of sleep
Location is good, staff wasn't very clear about costs and deposits. Didn't really greet staff and communicate clearly. Had to ask questions to prompt responses.
The jostle and the staff were amazing. I give it 10 stars in all categories.
Room was nice
No parking available! Had to spend $80.00 to park a block away
+ Unbelievable comfortable rooms + very clean + perfect location, u can reach all points of interest in a very short time by foot + big rooms, very modern + very big and amasing breakfest!!!! If i will ever come back to New Orleans, i will definetly visit the SpringHill Suites again!!!!!!!!
The room was very clean, hotel very quiet, and great location!
They did not allow early check-in and there was no parking available when we did check in. We had to pay $40 elsewhere for parking.
The room was very nice and staff accommodating.
The rate was inflated because of Mardi Gras and we were only there one night to catch a cruise at the nearby dock and feel we were severely overcharged but with lack of hotel rooms that were available we had to book as our other hotel cancelled us because we did not book for 2 nights because of Mardi Gras.
Grei frokost, gode senger
